A literacy upgrade in Chittorgarh: Courtesy District Magistrate, Dr Manju
From upgraded classrooms to better learning facilities, government schools in Chittorgarh are getting a major upgrade. Leading this effort is Dr. Manju, a 2016 batch Rajasthan cadre IAS officer currently serving District Magistrate of Chittorgarh. “Education is one of our priority sectors” she quoted.
Recognizing the need to strengthen government school infrastructure, various resources like CSR contributions and government schemes, are being utilised to improve facilities in schools and create better learning environments for students. Additionally, to support young aspirants preparing for competitive examinations, the administration is working towards establishing libraries across the district. The ambitious plan is to open a library at every Gram Panchayat headquarter helping students in rural areas to access study resources closer to their homes.
Along with education, the focus is implementation and saturation of government schemes to ensure that their benefits reach all eligible citizens. “We are working on proper execution of Central and State schemes” she shared.
