Air Marshal Rajesh Kumar appointed as new chief of Strategic Forces Command

Air Marshal Rajesh Kumar has been appointed as the new commander-in-chief of the Strategic Forces Command, which is responsible for the management of India's tactical and strategic nuclear weapons stockpile. He has succeeded Air Marshal NS Dhillon, who superannuated on January 31, 2021.
