Global aerospace major Boeing has commenced the production of the AH-64 Apaches attack helicopter e-model at its facility in Mesa, Arizona in United States. In 2020, Boeing completed delivery of 22 Indian Air Force E-model Apaches and signed a contract to produce six AH-64Es for the Indian Army. The delivery of the Indian Army’s Apaches is scheduled for 2024. These AH-64E helicopters are renowned for their advanced technology and will help enhance India’s defence capabilities, building on a collaboration between Boeing and Tata Boeing Aerospace Limited (TBAL), which has delivered the first AH-64 Apache fuselage to the Indian Army.
