CM Sai attends bhoomi poojan of Yash Fans Plant in Nava Raipur
The bhoomi poojan of Yash Fans' new manufacturing plant was held in Nava Raipur tin the presence of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. The plant is being set up with an investment of ₹152.74 crore and will provide employment to 3,500 people. It will be the first consumer electronics manufacturing plant in Chhattisgarh.
"Providing employment to our youth is our government's top priority, and our Industrial Development Policy 2024-30 has been shaped with this focus," said CM Sai. "This plant will create jobs for our people and take Chhattisgarh into consumer electronics manufacturing."
Yash Fans manufactures electric fans and kitchen appliances for leading brands such as Crompton, Havells, Usha and Milton. Beyond direct jobs, the plant is expected to bring supporting industries to the region. This will create business opportunities for local entrepreneurs and generate further employment.
The project will also drive value addition within the state. Steel and aluminium produced in Chhattisgarh will now be turned into finished products right here.
Hyderabad-based Yash Fans operates 12 manufacturing plants across Hyderabad and Himachal Pradesh. The Nava Raipur unit will be its first in Chhattisgarh.
"Chhattisgarh is the ideal location for us to expand our manufacturing base," said Ritesh Naredi, Chairman, Yash Fans. "The state gives us easy access to raw materials like steel and aluminium, a central location from where we can serve customers across the country, hardworking people, and strong support from the government."
The event was attended by Lakhan Lal Dewangan, Minister, Commerce and Industries; O.P. Choudhary, Minister, Housing and Environment; and Rajeev Agrawal, Chairman, CSIDC, along with senior leadership from Yash Fans.
