Congress seeks explanations from Its own leaders?
According to recent reports, the Congress party has sought formal explanations from over 40 of its Members of Parliament who failed to participate in the latest INDIA bloc protests. Led by Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, these demonstrations were organized against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls.
While Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and several other opposition leaders faced police detention during their multi-day sit-ins and marches in New Delhi, the noticeable absence of certain MPs caught the high command's attention. Taking serious note of this lapse, the All India Congress Committee instructed General Secretary K.C. Venugopal to submit a report on the absentee lawmakers.
