Hitesh R. Joshi appointed CMD, GIC

The govt has on Wednesday appointed Hitesh Rameshchandra Joshi as the Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of the national re-insurer, General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC). Hitesh Joshi was serving as interim CMD since October 2025.
