IAS Officer appointed Ombudsman in J & K

For the first time in Jammu and Kashmir, a Retd IAS officer K B Agrawal has been appointed  as the Ombudsman for Panchayats for investigating charges of corruption and maladministration in the Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) .
