Whisper has it that a Joint Secretary level officer has been shifted at the behest of the Prime Minister after the Minister took up the misdemeanors of the officer with him (PM). The Minister approached the Prime Minister after the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) did not entertain the Minister’s recommendations.
