Justice Sanjiv Khanna could be first for direct elevation to SC from parent court

If Supreme Court Collegium recommendation of Justice Sanjiv Khanna is cleared for elevation to Supreme Court, he will also be one of the few judges to be elevated directly to Supreme Court from parent High Court. Among the sitting judges, Abdul Nazeer J. is the only such judge.
