Kamlesh Nilkanth Vyas, Director BARC, has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy and Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) for a period of till he attains the age of 64 years. He would succeed Shekhar Basu. (We said this on August 21, 2018)
