Karnataka CM Shivakumar expands cabinet, inducts 20 new ministers

Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar expanded his cabinet by inducting 20 ministers on Monday afternoon after the Congress high command approved the expansion list. With this the strength of the DKS cabinet is now 34. Ron MLA GS Patil will be the new Assembly Speaker.

Those inducted are - P.M. Narendra Swamy, Shivaraj Tangadagi, Rudrappa Lamani, K.S. Basavanthappa, B. Nagendra, T. Raghumoorthy (Raghumurthy), B.Z. Zameer Ahmed Khan, Rizwan Arshad, Santosh Lad, Madhu Bangarappa, Putturangashetty (Puttaranga Shetty), S.S. Mallikarjun, Dr. Ajay Singh, N. Chaluvaraya Swamy (Cheluvarayaswamy), K.M. Shivalinge Gowda, H.C. Balakrishna, Gayathri Shanthegowda (only woman minister), Basavaraj Rayareddi, Vijayanand Kashappanavar and Laxman Savad.
