MP Travel Mart 2026 honours outstanding participants and institutions
Secretary, Tourism and Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, Dr. Ilayaraja T., said the state was strengthening Ease of Doing Business in tourism in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision. He announced that a comprehensive tourism roadmap for 2028 would be developed to attract investment, simplify procedures and promote diverse tourism experiences.
He said the state was following the “3Gs” framework—Guides, Guidelines and Gear. The tourism policy aims to involve large investors, local entrepreneurs, rural communities and homestay operators to expand employment opportunities.
On the third day of Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart (MPTM) 2026, awards were presented after B2B meetings to recognise excellence in tourism promotion, innovation and sustainability. Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation Ashish Kumar, Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation Dileep Kumar Yadav, and Additional Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board Dr. Abhay Arvind Bedekar attended the ceremony.
A short film on MPTM 2026 was screened, while 36 Organising Committee members and 52 sponsors were felicitated.

Best Art and Craft Exhibition: First – Tajwar Khan (Zari Zardozi); Second – Reena Bhuria (Wood Craft).
The awards celebrated tourism enterprises and artisans showcasing Madhya Pradesh’s tribal culture, wildlife, heritage, traditional crafts and sustainable tourism practices.
