The tenure of Sanjay S Barve presently working as Mumbai Police Commissioner in Maharashtra has been extended in Indian Police Service (IPS) for yet another three months. Barve, who belongs to a 1987 batch IPS officer, was granted first extension of three months in the service on August 30, 2019. We had predicated on August 14 that he would get six months extension.
