New Garrisons Near Bangladesh Border

The Army established three new military garrisons in the Siliguri Corridor (“Chicken’s Neck”) to bolster security against potential threats from Bangladesh. A fourth base in Mizoram is under consideration. This enhances rapid response in a strategically vulnerable area.
