The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) did not find a suitable candidate out of three for the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) at a meeting held on July 8, 2021. The Board has recommended the concerned Ministry to obtain approval of the competent authority for constituting a search cum selection committee.
