Promoted after 15 years of retirement

The CBIC has granted ad-hoc promotion to S. Manoharan to the grade of Assistant Commissioner of Customs and Indirect, notionally with effect from 10.12.2002. As per Office Order his DoB is 02.09.1951. The order further said, the ad-hoc promotion will also be subject to all other matters pending before CAT or High Courts or Supreme Court.
