Seven States have 1986 batch DGPs
Currently Seven states in the country are having 1986 batch IPS officers as DGP. They are S R Mardi (Himachal Pradesh), Dr S P Vaid (J & K), M Mahender Reddy (Telengana), Dr R P Sharma (Odisha), Dr Swaraj Bir Singh (Meghalaya), Akhil Kumar Shukla (Tripura) and Rajesh Malik (Andman). S R Ma
