Before joining the PMO, two officers were Private Secretaries to Union Ministers. Hardik S  Shah, IAS was PS to Prakash Javdekar, Minister for Environment, Forest & Climate Change while Saurabh Shukla, IA&AS was PS to Late Arun Jaitey.
