Steel sector getting new boost

Steel sector is not in good health. According to sources, new secretary is trying hard to give a new boost to the sector. India is facing tough competition with China and the ministry is giving economic packages to Indian PSUs. A Rs 500 crore grant has been given to Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL).
