Tewolde Gebremariam Appointed CEO & MD of Air India

Air India has appointed Tewolde Gebremariam, former CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director (MD), succeeding Campbell Wilson.

Welcoming the appointment, N. Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons and Air India, said Gebremariam's proven leadership and operational expertise will play a key role in driving Air India's next phase of growth and transformation.

Gebremariam said he looks forward to working with the Board, employees, and stakeholders to build Air India into a world-class global airline.
