UCO bank still headless, process to identify new MD and CEO is on

The process for selection of a regular Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) of UCO Bank, a Public Sector Bank has started but the date is not yet fixed for the interview. UCO Bank is presently operating without a regular MD and CEO as Executive Director Rajendra Kumar Saboo is holding the additional charge of the post. Saboo was assigned the additional charge of MD & CEO effective June 1, 2026 after Ashwani Kumar completed his three-year tenure as the MD and CEO of the bank on May 31, 2026.
