Unhappy, Cong MLA Yashavantaraygouda V Patil resigns

As soon as Chief Minister DK Shivakumar carried out the expansion of the state cabinet several Congress MLAs hoping for a ministerial berth were left dissatisfied. Congress MLA Yashavantaraygouda V Patil expressing unhappiness over his non-induction to the cabinet submitted his resignation letter to Deputy Speaker Rudrappa Lamani at the Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru.

Meanwhile, another MLA from Sagar, Belur Gopalakrishna has also announced to resign.
