The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) increased 150 seats to recruit officers in the newly created Indian Railway Management Service (IRSM), Group 'A' through Civil Services Examination-2022. The candidates, who were earlier selected by separate exams for technical and engineering services, will now be recruited through common Civil Services Examination. Eligibility conditions for the recruitment to the IRMS, Group ‘A’ will be the same as candidates are selected through Civil Services Examination.
