Varsha Ashok Aglawe becomes first woman DG of Geological Survey of India

Varsha Ashok Aglawe has assumed charge as the 54th Director General of the Geological Survey of India (GSI). She is the first woman to head the 176-year-old premier geoscientific organisation, succeeding Shri Asit Saha.
