After an unexpected extension to the present incumbent, Dr Debashish Chakrabarty, all eyes are now on the appointment of new Chief Secretary in Maharashtra. Whisper has it that the tie is between two officers: Manu Shrivastava of 1986 batch and Manoj Sounik of 1987 batch.
