Why Ministry is in hurry for Cabinet approval ?
Ministry of Commerce and Industries wants a cabinet approval so that some senior officers could be declared surplus. According to sources, DoPT has reportedly advised to the Ministry not to do so. Despite this, ministry is in a hurry but Cabinet note is yet to be prepared.
