Chairperson of the CBSE Anita Karwal  is likely to succeed Dr W R Reddy as DG National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Hyderabad. She is 1988 batch IAS officer of Gujarat cadre. Reddy is retiring on May 31.
