Will PSFT be closed?

Rumours are high that Price Stablization Fund Trust (PSFT) under the Deptt of Commerce may close down within few months. A July 3, 2018 order says that Ms Anita Praveen, JS has been entrusted the additional charge of CEO, PSFT for a period of six months beyond June 30, 2018 or till closer of PSFT or until further orders, whichever is the earliest. She is a 1989 batch TN cadre IAS officer.
