Latest information says that Dr T V Somanathan is ahead in the race for the post of Deputy Governor Reserve Bank of India (RBI).He is 1987 batch IAS officer of TamilNadu cadre. If the choice of RBI Governor prevails then M K Jain on the IDBI would be Deputy Governor.
