IAS officers in UP have been handed over new responsibilities. Nitin Bansal has got the responsibility of Special Secretary, Home while Devendra Kushwaha is posted as Special Secretary, Medical Education and Renu Tiwari is now Secretary, SC/ST Commission. Besides, Krishna Kumar has been sent as Special Secretary, Irrigation Department. Transfer of Special Secretary Housing Rakesh Kumar Mishra to Excise Department has been cancelled and Yashu Rustagi, Director, Labor and Adjustment Department, has been relieved of the responsibility of Special Secretary, Technical and Vocational Education.
