IAS Ruchika Chauhan belongs to the 2011 Batch Madhya Pradesh Cadre and is currently posted as a district collector in Gwalior.

With a clear vision for the district, her dream project focuses on Harnessing industrial potential while ensuring increased participation of women. “My Dream Project I would say is to re-establish Gwalior as an industrial hub as it was in the past .” she said
 
To achieve this Chauhan aims to set up an exclusive women-led industrial park that contributes to economic growth, employment, and empowerment.   "We are working with local women entrepreneurs to establish an exclusive women-led industrial park, the first of its kind," she said.
 
Alongside her focus on industrial development, she is also working for Environmental conservation by developing city forests in Gwalior. "We are starting with a hillock in the city, known as Alapur Hill," she said.
 
Under her leadership, several major development projects are underway in the city, and efforts are being made to complete them quickly.
