IPS Nivedita Naidu is a 2016 Batch Officer of Madhya Pradesh Cadre and is currently posted as Superintendent of Police in Umaria,MP.Known for her dedication to duty,Her vision for the district goes beyond routine esponsibilities focusing on often overlooked issue menstrual hygiene.

“We are working on improving access to alternative menstrual hygiene products,”she shared.

The initiative focuses on creating awareness and improving accessibility, specifically targeting menstrual cups for now.With this,Naidu is breaking societal taboos surrounding menstrual cups challenging misconception and hesitation associated with their use “We are training the trainers-Asha workers and others to take this awareness forward,”she explained.

Under Naidu’s leadership,this unique and out of the box initiative has trained over 200 Asha workers and women“ In the process, we have trained around 200 Asha workers and women,”she said.
