IPS Saurabh Gupta is a 2018 Batch Officer of Assam-Meghalaya cadre and is currently posted as Superintendent of Police in Hojai district, Assam. His Mission is to protect and provide both legal and social support to victims of Domestic violence and matrimonial disputes. "We have initiated several projects in the district to ensure that justice is delivered effectively."

To address such cases, a dedicated cell has been established. This cell actively monitors complaints, ensuring that officers visit their homes at regular intervals "This provides them with a sense of security, knowing that their complaints are being acknowledged and that they have someone to turn to in case of violence or threats." he said Additionally to address the time lag from filing to receiving court orders  he added "During this period, our efforts ensure that they do not experience further violence or atrocities."

With strong focus on domestic violence, Gupta is bringing a fresh wave of change and justice to the citizens of Hojai.
