Six IPS officers have been given new postings in Bihar. Rajiv Ranjan-I has been appointed as SP, State Crime Record Bureau, Patna, while Rakesh Kumar Sinha takes over as SP, Surveillance Investigation Bureau, Patna and Pankaj Kumar is now SP, Economic Offences Unit, Patna. Similarly, Anant Kumar Rai was posted as AIGP, Traffic, Patna; Manish Kumar Sinha as Commandant, Special Protection Group, Patna with additional charge of SP (Security), Special Branch, Patna and Rajesh Kumar was shifted as Commandant, Bihar Special Armed Police-16, Patna.
