UP: IG Registration removed and placed under compulsory wait list
Samir Verma, IG Registration in UP has been transferred and placed under compulsory wait. As per the departmental minister, Ravindra Jaiswal, the action has been initiated after receiving alleged corruption complaints against IG, Verma, an IAS officer. He was PS to former Union Minister Uma Bharti during the first term of the Modi government.
