Under the agreement, REC Foundation has committed ₹1.68 crore towards the procurement and deployment of three new Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) and their operational expenditure for one year. These units will serve as a lifeline for remote and underserved communities, providing doorstep access to essential medical services in various districts of Jharkhand. The signing ceremony, held on October 7, 2025, was graced by Ashok Bhagat, Secretary, Vikas Bharti Bishunpur; Jitendra Srivastava, Chairman and Managing Director, REC Limited; and other senior officials from both organizations. Through this initiative, REC Foundation continues to drive its vision of ensuring quality healthcare services reach the most marginalized communities, reducing health disparities and improving well-being in the farthest corners of the state.
