Under the leadership of CM Dr Mohan Yadav, Madhya Pradesh is poised to emerge as a world-class tourism destination with the organization of the MP Travel Mart (MPTM) 2025, scheduled from 11th to 13th October 2025 at the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre, Bhopal.

 

Organized by the MP Tourism Board, this landmark event will be the largest state-level travel mart in India, hosting over 700 participants, including 80+ foreign tour operators from 27 countries, 150 domestic operators, film professionals, and key industry stakeholders. It aims to position the state as the “Heart of Incredible India,” highlighting its rich heritage, wildlife, culture, cuisine, and film tourism.

 

Sheo Shekhar Shukla, ACS, Tourism, Culture, Home and MD, MP Tourism Board, stated that the Travel Mart will showcase the state’s diverse tourism offerings — heritage, wildlife, rural culture, handicrafts, cuisine, and film tourism — under one roof.

 

Minister of State for Tourism, Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, stated that in collaboration with FICCI the travel mart will connect the state’s hoteliers, travel and tour operators, homestay owners, and other tourism stakeholders (sellers) with prominent domestic and international buyers, including major hoteliers and tour operators.

 

The event will feature 3,000+ B2B meetings, investment pitches, roundtable sessions, and exhibitions with 120+ stalls, showcasing handicrafts, Gond art, and Chanderi weaving. Cultural highlights include performances by the Maihar Band, folk dances, and a special choreography by Maitreyee Pahari.

 

CM Dr Yadav will also lead investor meetings and participate in two major thematic sessions: “Madhya Pradesh: From Hidden Gem to Global Icon” and “The Future of the Film Sector in Madhya Pradesh”

 

Prominent industry leaders and film personalities such as Dr Jyotsna Suri, Rajiv Mehra, Ekta Kapoor, and Gajraj Rao will be part of the event, alongside pavilions from IRCTC, Incredible India, and other State Tourism Boards. MPTM 2025 is set to drive investment, employment, and global visibility, establishing Madhya Pradesh as a true Global Icon in Tourism.
