Secretary General LS likely to get one more extension

In all probability, Utpal Kumar Singh, Secretary General of Loka Sabha is likely to get one more extension or till March next year. Sources said the reason behind this is the Lok Sabha winter session will start from December 1 and Commonwealth Countries Speakers Conference is also scheduled in January. Singh is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer of 1983 batch from Uttarakhand cadre who is serving as the Secretary General of the Lok Sabha since 30 November 2020. His extended term expires this month.
