Smruti Ranjan Sethy, who is presently posted in East Coast Railway (ECoR), has been appointed on deputation as Director (Joint Secretary level) (Inspection & Quality Control), Export Inspection Council of India, New Delhi, under the Ministry of Commerce, for a tenure up to the date of his superannuation on June 30, 2029. He is an Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME) officer.
