HUDCO celebrates its first-ever cultural day “TAANA-BAANA” (UPDATED)
Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO), a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, successfully organized its first-ever Cultural Day, “Tana–Bana,” March 1, 2026 at the Ansal Plaza Amphitheatre, Andrewsganj, New Delhi. The initiative was a step to celebrate the culturally diverse workforce of the organisation, which is a microcosm of the cultural and regional diversity of our nation. The event was thoughtfully curated by employees, for employees, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from HUDCO staff and their families.
 
The event brought together members of the HUDCO family in an atmosphere of joy, camaraderie, and shared pride. Employees and their family members actively participated in a range of engaging activities, including a colourful cultural parade of traditional attires, regional cuisine stalls offering a taste of India’s culinary richness, and a variety of games and recreational activities. The overwhelming response and spirited involvement of participants made the event a resounding success.
 
The event was inaugurated by Sanjay Kulshrestha CMD, HUDCO, M Nagaraj, DCP, and Vineet Gupta, CVO. The programme featured captivating folk music and dance performances by showcasing India’s rich and diverse cultural heritage. Adding to the festive spirit, talented HUDCO employees and their family members took the stage with great enthusiasm to present cultural performances that reflected the organization’s creative energy and team spirit.
 
Addressing the gathering, Sanjay Kulshrestha highlighted the significance of this initiative and said that “Taana–Baana” serves as a platform to celebrate unity in diversity while fostering deeper employee engagement, strengthening teamwork, and nurturing a stronger sense of belonging within the organization. The success of “Taana–Baana” stands as a testament to the collective enthusiasm, creativity, and collaborative spirit of HUDCO employees, marking the beginning of what promises to become a cherished annual tradition.
