Now 15 IPS officers of 1992 batch are DGPs in India
After the appointment of new Tamil Nadu and West Bengal DGs, the number of 1992 batch IPS officers as DGP in states has now risen to 15. Bihar and NCRB DGs are from 1991 batch but trained with 1992 batch officers. Then BCAS and NSG DG are of 1992 batch but trained with 1993 batch officers. So, 15 of 1992 are DGs.
