Mormugao Port Trust creates history

Mormugao Port Trust created history by recording 37.06% growth over the corresponding period of last year. Except Mormugao Port ( 37.06 ) and Paradip Port ( 1.65 ) , traffic declined in all the other 10 major ports because of Covid Pandemic/. Mormugao Port growth was mainly due to increase in traffic of Iron Ore & Pellets (323.10% ), Fertilizer ( 213.46% ), Other Misc. cargo ( 21. 84 % ) , and other Liquids ( 21.82 % ) .Dr. E.Ramesh Kumar, IAS is the Chairman of the Goa Port Trust.
