Five IAS officers in Punjab have been assigned new responsibilities. Malwinder Singh Jaggi has been appointed as Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries & Dairy Development with additional charge of the posts of Secretary, Labour and ED, Punjab State Scheduled Castes Land Development and Finance Corporation and ED, BACKFINO, while Pradeep Kumar Agrawal, DG, School Education, was assigned additional charge of Special Secretary, School Education and Mrs Amrit Kaur Gill is now Director and Special Secretary, Social Justice, Empowerment & Minorities. Besides, Uma Shankar Gupta, Additional CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion and Additional MD, Punjab Information & Communication Technology Corporation Ltd. was handed over an additional charge of Additional Secretary, Home Affairs & Justice and Rahul Gupta, Additional Secretary, Agriculture and Additional Secretary, Medical Education & Research, was given the additional charge of Additional MD, MARKFED.
