NRIs Mrs. Geetika Tandon, as the President of Indian Women’s Association, Lagos, Nigeria and Sanjeev Tandon as Assistant Governor of Rotary International distt 9110 Nigeria have been conferred Chieftaincy by Royal Court of Odogbolu, Ogun State, Nigeria & His Royal Highness, Eze Agbwodikeizu Nwalozie, Eze Ndigbo of Ikeja LGA, Lagos State for their outstanding social & community services in Nigeria as below: Chief Sanjeev Tandon as Atunluse of Odogbolu; Chief (Mrs) Geetika Tandon as Yeye Atunluse of Odogbolu ( Atunluse means the one who is committed for physical, social development of town & human capital); Chief Sanjeev Tandon –as Oke-Enyi Ndi Igbo, 1 of Ikeja Kingdom (great friend of the Igbos). It is pertinent to mention that: Chief Sanjeev Tandon – is the first Indian to get double Chieftaincy ( Yoruba & Igbo); Chief Geetika Tandon – is first Indian Lady to get Chieftaincy; Chief Geetika & Chief Sanjeev Tandon – first couple to get chieftaincy.
