Six IPS officers have been shifted and given new postings in Punjab. M F Farooqui has been posted as ADGP, State Armed Police, Jalandhar Cantt and will continue to hold charge of ADGP, Public Grievances, Punjab, Chandigarh, while Naunihal Singh, IGP, Personnel, will also handle charge of IGP Crime and he has been relieved of the charge of IGP PAP-II and Disaster Management, Jalandhar. Similarly, Harjeet Singh, SSP, Ludhiana (Rural), will also handle charge of AIGP, Armament, Punjab, Chandigarh; Damya Harish Kumar Omprakash was shifted as SSP, Khanna; Ravi Kumar as AIG, Counter Intelligence, Chandigarh and Simrat Kaur will take charge as AIG, Counter Intelligence, Patiala.
