RSS did 300-400 meetings in each Bihar district, which now reflects in the NDA-BJP’s clean sweep!

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is believed to have played a crucial behind-the-scenes role in the NDA-BJP’s impressive victory in Bihar. According to insiders, the Sangh conducted nearly 300 to 400 micro-level meetings in each constituency, focusing on booth committees, local influencers, and first-time voters. These small-scale engagements allowed the cadre to convey the BJP’s development narrative while addressing local grievances directly. In several districts, RSS workers quietly coordinated with affiliated organizations to ensure high voter turnout in BJP strongholds and neutralize caste-based fragmentation. The extensive micro-networking created a ripple effect, consolidating support beyond traditional party lines. Unlike large rallies, these interactions built personal trust and ideological alignment at the community level, which ultimately translated into electoral gains. The results reflect how the RSS’s disciplined organizational machinery complemented the BJP’s campaign strategy, particularly in closely contested constituencies.
PM Modi cautions against spilt within the Congress!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent caution about a possible split within the Congress has triggered intense speculation among political analysts. His remark, seen as more than casual observation, is being interpreted as a calculated signal. Many believe it reflects intelligence inputs or ground-level feedback suggesting discontent among Congress state units ahead of key Assembly elections. Analysts say the statement disrupts the Congress’s efforts to project unity under Mallikarjun Kharge and the Gandhi family, while subtly amplifying internal rifts between the old guard and younger leaders. For Modi, raising the issue publicly plants seeds of doubt just as opposition parties attempt to consolidate under the INDIA bloc. Pundits note that such assertions from a sitting Prime Minister are rare unless politically loaded, making it both a warning and a provocation—reshaping the narrative in a way that forces the Congress to defend cohesion instead of setting the agenda.
Journalists sent back from Delhi Congress HQ?

Journalists who were initially called to the Congress headquarters in New Delhi on Friday were reportedly asked to leave without any formal briefing or statement from party leaders. The move came amid palpable tension and shock within the Congress camp following the party’s dismal performance in the Bihar assembly elections. According to sources present at the venue, media personnel had gathered expecting an official reaction or press conference from senior leaders, but were later informed that no interaction would take place. Party functionaries appeared visibly dejected, with many avoiding questions about the leadership’s next steps. The abrupt cancellation, insiders say, reflects the scale of disappointment within the Congress after its poor electoral showing, which has once again raised questions about its organizational strategy and leadership credibility, particularly in key Hindi heartland states where the party continues to struggle for relevance.

REC Limited, a Maharatna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power and a leading NBFC, has successfully mediated a crucial Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Meghalaya Power Distribution Corporation Limited (MePDCL) and the Central Power Research Institute (CPRI). The MoU was signed by MePDCL and CPRI in presence of Dr Shakeel P Ahammed, Meghalaya Chief Secretary; Jitendra Srivastava, CMD, REC; Dr J Sreedevi, DG, CPRI; Shri Prince Dhawan, ED, REC; Subhendu Roy, CPM Guwahati, REC and other senior officials from MePDCL, CPRI and REC. This strategic partnership is a significant step towards bolstering the quality assurance mechanism for power distribution infrastructure in Meghalaya and entire North-East India, particularly under the flagship Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS). Key Highlights of the Collaboration: NABL Accreditation Goal: The primary objective of the MoU is to establish a NABL-accredited testing facility within Meghalaya, addressing the critical logistical challenges and delays faced by North Eastern States in sending materials for quality testing to distant laboratories. CPRI’s Technical Leadership: CPRI, a premier research and development organization in the power sector, will provide comprehensive consultancy and technical support. This includes preparing detailed specifications for procurement, guiding documentation, and offering supervisory support to ensure MePDCL's facility is fully equipped and prepared for NABL inspection. REC Limited’s Mediation and Support: As the Nodal Agency for the RDSS, REC Limited played a pivotal role in mediating this agreement, reinforcing its commitment to strict quality control and timely execution of scheme projects. The local availability of a NABL-accredited lab is expected to significantly expedite the Field Material Quality Testing and Inspection (FMQI) process, which has previously been delayed due to the necessity of transporting heavy equipment like Distribution Transformers (DTRs) across long distances. Boosting Local Capacity: MePDCL will provide the necessary testing equipment (including specialized instruments like HV test benches and frequency meters), calibration of existing assets, and preparing the facility. This initiative will not only improve material quality but also strengthen local technical expertise through training and hand-holding by CPRI officials. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Secretary Meghalaya said, "This initiative will bolster the pace of works under RDSS and will also help MePDCL build in-house testing capacity. He appreciated the efforts of MePDCL to ensure quality certification of power infrastructure being built under RDSS" CMD, REC Limited said, "This MoU marks a milestone in overcoming the geographic hurdles that often impede rapid quality assessment in the North Eastern Region. By facilitating the establishment of a local, NABL-accredited facility through this partnership, we are ensuring that RDSS projects in Meghalaya meet the highest standards of material quality and are executed efficiently, thereby benefiting the consumers directly." REC CMD also thanked the efforts of Sh. Sanjay Goyal, CMD, MeECL and Shri Prince Dhawan, ED, REC for their efforts. This agreement underscores the collective commitment of MePDCL, CPRI, and REC Limited to enhancing power system reliability and service delivery for the people of Meghalaya.

Comments
The Hon’ble Bombay High court at Goa in the matter of Dr. Celsa Pinto vs. Goa State Information Commission (W.P. No. 419 of 2007, decision dated 03.04.2008), held that the definition of information cannot include within its fold answers to the question "why" which would be same thing as asking the reason for a justification for a particular thing. The public information authorities cannot be expected to communicate to the citizen the reason why a certain thing was done or not done in the sense of a justification because the citizen makes a requisition about information. Justifications are matter within the domain of adjudicating authorities and cannot properly be classified as information.
