Will US be able to install Reza Pahlavi as leader of Iran?

Shahzadeh Reza Pahlavi, an exiled son of Iran’s last Shah living in the United States, has been making all efforts to return to Iran as leader. The Trump Administration is willing to install him as next leader by subjugating Iran and pave the way for hassle free supply of fuel to US and other European countries as his father did before the 1979 revolution in Iran.

Policing has traditionally been known for responding after a crime has already occurred but this is changing in Akola through an innovative initiative called Project Trinetra. At the helm of this initiative is IPS Archit Chandak, a 2018 batch officer currently posted as Superintendent of Police, Akola in Maharashtra.

Now,what is Project Trinetra? it is a data driven preventive policing model that uses crime records to identify repeat offenders into High, Medium, and Low risk levels and predict/ prevent crime before they happen. It also helps police act early through targeted monitoring and smarter patrolling instead of waiting for crimes to happen.
The numbers tell the story itself. In just three months repeat crime reduced by 64%. Prior to the launch of Project Trinetra, June, July and August, 70 repeat offenders committed crimes whileafter its implementation this number dropped sharply to 25 repeat offenders.

At the heart of Project Trinetra lies a simple but powerful idea: a small group of habitual offenders is responsible for a disproportionate share of crimes. While police officers are often aware of this intuitively, the absence of structured real-time intelligence makes timely action difficult.ProjectTrinetra bridges this gap by organising existing police data and converting it into actionable insights/leads.
The AI Model analyses past crime records, offender histories, time patterns and locations to identify repeat offenders who are most likely to reoffend in the near future.Instead of random patrolling or surveillance, police resources are deployed with precision.High-risk individuals are identified early and stations are alerted well in advance, allowing officers to take proportionate preventive measures such as counselling, targetedmonitoring, beat checks and community engagement.

Designed consciously, the initiative is designed as a decision-support system and not as a replacement for human judgment.Every alert generated by the system is advisory in nature. Final decisions rest entirely with police officers, ensuringaccountability, fairness and adherence to constitutional safeguards.
Additionally Focused on fairness ,no profiling based on caste, religion or socio-economic background is used, and the focus remains strictly on behaviour and prior criminal activity.
The sharp decline in repeat offences suggests that early identification and focused intervention can act as a strong deterrent.Police now plan patrols more clearly, identify suspects faster and uses manpower more effectively. At the same time, repeat offenders know they are being closely watchedwhich discourages them from committing crimes again.
IPS ArchitChandak’s approach shows how technology, when used responsibly can strengthen policing from being reactive to proactive and enhance safety.

In a poignant close to an extraordinary chapter, Subedar Major/Honorary Captain Sanjay Kumar, PVC, the Indian Army’s last serving Param Vir Chakra recipient, bids adieu after four decades of valorous service with the 13 Jammu and Kashmir Rifles (JAK Rif).
Kumar’s legend was forged on July 4, 2000, during the Kargil War’s fierce Battle of Tololing. As a Havildar, the young soldier from Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, scaled a sheer 30-foot cliff under blistering gunfire, single-handedly silencing a Pakistani machine-gun post and enabling his unit’s advance. For this audacious gallantry, he earned the PVC, India’s highest wartime honour, at age 26.
Yet, Kumar’s path was no unbroken ascent. Around 2010, he faced an inexplicable demotion to Lance Naik, with the Army offering no public rationale. Whispers in military corridors pointed to friction with a senior officer over salute protocols for PVC holders— a rare protocol granting recipients the honours of a Lieutenant Colonel. Officially, the Army persisted in listing him as Havaldar in communiques, fuelling quiet controversy in defence circles.
Vindication came through higher echelons’ intervention. Restored to his rank, Kumar ascended methodically via seniority: Naib Subedar in 2014, Subedar Major in February 2022, Honorary Lieutenant in August 2025, and finally Honorary Captain on Republic Day 2026. True to policy, no out-of-turn promotions marred his merit-based rise.
As the sole active PVC from the 21 awarded since 1947 steps into civilian life, Kumar leaves a void. “Duty was my creed,” he told reporters modestly. His retirement underscores the Army’s unyielding ethos: heroism endures, but equity prevails.
A major reshuffle in the Indian Defence Establishment, trending as part of Budget 2026 discussions is likely. This could influence defence PSUs like HAL (Maharatna) and BEL (Navratna).

Each committee includes Subsidiary Intelligence Bureau, Foreigners Regional Registration Officer, NIC, and Post Master General representatives, plus invitees from state home department and railways. Japan is negotiating with India to jointly explore rare earth deposits in Rajasthan's desert region, sources familiar with the discussions said on March 3. Tokyo aims to cut reliance on China for magnet-making materials, offering extraction technology and funding for stable supplies in exchange. India's Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy recently disclosed three hard rock deposits holding 1.29 million metric tons of rare earth oxides in Rajasthan and Gujarat. Following a 2025 critical minerals pact, Japan plans to send experts, though timing is unclear. India's Ministry of Mines and Japanese embassy did not comment. Hard rock extraction needs advanced techniques India lacks. Japan is also eyeing India partnerships for lithium, copper, cobalt in Africa.

Modi government will be remembered in history
The Modi government will be remembered in history forever. It has given life of dignity to the poorest of the poor ensuring food security, housing, toilets and peace. It has ensured fast growth of infrastructure and the economy. India is on its way to become a developed country. It has strongly attacked corruption and black money. Law and order has improved dramatically. BIMARU states have started growing fast because of excellent law and order. It has finished naxal terror. It has given fitting reply to terrorists from across the border. It has removed Article 370. It has always acted on its agenda of sabka saath, sabka vikas, sabka vishwas. No wonder the corrupt and the enemies of the country are so much against Modi sarkar.

Information needed for resolution of a legal dispute
Appellant sought information about Foreign Currency payment made in Indian Rupees to the amount of INR 70,000 around October 1978. The SBI informed that the information could not be retrieved being 40 years old. The appellant argued that the proof of the averred remittance to her father was crucial in the light of a property dispute pending disposal before court of law. The CIC held that the issue for consideration before it is grant of relief as per the RTI Act and does not extended to the resolution of legal disputes.
Comments
It has been argued before the CIC that information needed for dispensation of justice should be provided as the same is in public interest. It has also been contended that till the destruction memo is produced, the responsibility of maintaining the records rests with the public authority.
