Bihar Govt shifts 17 IAS officers, Pankaj Kumar is PS, Home

In a major administrative Bihar government has transferred 17 IAS officers and assigned them with new responsibilities. Pankaj Kumar, Principal Secretary of the Rural Development Department, will be the new Principal Secretary of the Home Department.

Rajesh Kumar, currently Principal Secretary of the PHED, has been appointed as the Commissioner of the Patna Division, while Mayank Warwade, currently Commissioner of the Patna Division, has been posted as the Principal Secretary of the Vigilance Department.

H.R. Srinivas, ACS, Social Welfare Department, has been appointed as ACS, Rural Development Department.

Sanjay Kumar, Secretary of the Finance Department, has been shifted as the Secretary of the Prohibition Department.

B. Karthikeya Dhanji has been transferred from the post of Secretary, Minor Water Resources Department, and appointed as Secretary of the PHED.

Rajiv Roshan has been moved from the post of Secretary, Higher Education Department, and posted as Secretary of the Education Department.

Manesh Kumar Meena has been moved from the post of Director of Mines and appointed as the District Magistrate (DM) of Bhojpur.

Richie Pandey has been moved from Sitamarhi to become the District Magistrate of Begusarai.

Vijay Prakash Meena has been moved from the post of Additional Secretary, Urban Development, and appointed as the District Magistrate of Siwan.

Tanay Sultania has been transferred from the post of DM, Bhojpur, to become the DM of Sitamarhi.

Kumar Anurag has been moved from the post of MD, Building Construction Corporation, to become the District Magistrate of Kaimur.

Vinay Kumar has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Finance Department. 

Meanwhile, Cabinet Secretary Arvind Chaudhary has been appointed as the DG of BIPARD; Vinod Singh Gunjiyal as the Secretary of the Social Welfare Department; and Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, Secretary of the Water Resources Department, as the Secretary of the Minor Water Resources Department.
