Competition Commission of India seeks applications for 12 posts on deputation

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has invited applications for 12 positions across its professional and administrative cadres on deputation basis, opening up opportunities for officers from All India Services, Central Civil Services and other eligible government institutions.

The vacancies include Director (Economics), Joint Director (Finance & Accounts), Deputy Directors in Economics and Finance & Accounts, Assistant Director (Corporate Services), Private Secretary to the Principal, and Office Managers.

Among the senior-level openings, the post of Director (Economics) carries Pay Level 13A, while the Joint Director (Finance & Accounts) post is placed at Level 13. Deputy Director positions carry Level 12 pay scales.

The administrative category includes one Assistant Director, one PPS and five Office Manager positions, including one Office Manager (Corporate Services) post earmarked for the CCI’s Regional Office in Kolkata.

Appointments will be made on deputation on foreign service terms for an initial period of three years, subject to satisfactory performance. The maximum age limit is 56 years as on the closing date of applications.

The vacancies offer an opportunity for experienced government officers to take up assignments in India’s competition regulation and enforcement framework.
