Govt re-appoints Anand Mahindra to RBI Board; inducts former ISRO chief S. Somnath also

The Govt of India has re-appointed industrialist Anand Mahindra as part-time Non-official Director on the Central Board of Reserve Bank of India.

Former chief of ISRO Dr. S. Somnath has also been inducted to the RBI board as a part-time Non-official Director on the Board of Reserve Bank of India. Both the appointments are for a period of four years with effect from August 20, 2026.
